FAQ
This page covers common questions about how we review sites, how pricing models differ, what “free” really means on cam platforms, and how to interpret our rankings. We also welcome corrections and feedback at support@simplemaven.com.
We rank sites using a hands-on review process rather than relying on marketing claims. Our team creates accounts, reviews pricing flows, inspects room mechanics, tests search and category tools, compares features, and looks at how usable the site feels once you actually start interacting.
We still score sites across core categories such as model quality, model quantity, diversity, pricing value, stream quality, Cam2Cam quality, features, and customer support. On top of that, we also look at practical user questions like how the site charges, how much live inventory it tends to have, and how easy it is to spend more than you intended.
We also maintain monitoring data on live model counts so we can compare marketplace size over time instead of guessing from a single visit.
This website earns money through advertising and affiliate relationships with some of the sites we feature. When you click our links and sign up or make a purchase, we may be paid. Compensation can influence placement, but it does not automatically create a good review or a high ranking.

Security and billing trust are minimum standards for us. We will not keep a site in our rankings if we lose confidence in its payment handling, reputation, or overall legitimacy. We also pay attention to whether the billing flow is clear, because a site can be technically secure and still be too easy to overspend on.
Most cam sites allow some amount of free browsing, but the experience is not identical across platforms. Some are easy to sample in public rooms, some require account setup before you can do much, and some push faster toward paid interaction.
If you want real interaction, private shows, direct messaging, or interactive toy control, you should expect to pay. We try to call out not just whether a site has free browsing, but how much value you can actually get before spending.
Some sites use tokens, some use credits, and some charge you directly in dollars once your payment method is on file. Tokens and credits create a prepaid balance that can make spending feel more contained. Direct billing is simpler to understand, but it can also make spending feel more frictionless and faster.
We call this out in our reviews because the pricing model changes the feel of the product. A site that looks affordable on paper can still become expensive quickly if the room economy is full of easy micro-spend mechanics.
If you experience anything contrary to information on this site, feel free to contact us at support@simplemaven.com. For specific site issues, contact the support team on the site you joined. Keep in mind that we test support for every site we review. Some have extensive support teams with multiple contact methods that respond almost immediately, while others offer just an email address with response delays. Start with the type of experience you want, not just the highest score. Some sites are better for polished premium rooms, some for huge live selection, some for deeper feature stacks, and some for better search and lower entry pricing. That is why we now highlight things like “best for,” pricing model, and live inventory in addition to the star rating.
Check the model profile first, then use the site’s filters and category pages. Some sites are much better at this than others. In our reviews we specifically call out when a platform has genuinely useful discovery tools versus when you are mostly stuck scrolling room cards.
Yes, they are adults only, and no one under the age of 18 years is allowed to use them. Even though we do not feature nudity, our site also caters to adults.
Most sites provide registration for aspiring models. Before doing so, we recommend you check out review sites from the performer’s perspective. There is a lot of information available to direct you towards the best site for being an adult cam broadcaster.
Please tell us. Pricing, room mechanics, and feature availability can change, and we would rather update a review than leave old information live. Feedback helps us keep the site more accurate.
Be respectful. Even in a paid room, a performer can end the interaction or refuse certain requests. Being clear, polite, and realistic about boundaries usually leads to a much better experience than treating a room like a free-for-all.
